College Basketball
While March Madness is going on I feel it is very fitting to devote a post to some college basketball stadiums that deserve recognition and a trip there to feel an atmosphere like no other. There is nothing like watching a live college basketball game in an arena where the students are going are going crazy and filling up the stadium with deafening chants and just noise. The Eruption Zone at Rupp Arena that leads the rest of the Big Blue Nation at all of UK's home games is a sight worth seeing. Also, the Cameron Crazies at Duke and the crazed Tar Heel fans at Chapel Hill are unforgettable games to see when the two are playing each other. A Kansas home game with the "Rock Chalk Jay Hawk" chant is the last game that I will recommend going to see. You can not go wrong with going to see any of these games and the students putting on a show at them to show their school spirit.
NYC: Off the Beaten Path
As I have said before, New York City is filled to the brim with things to do and places to see. All of the well known tourist attractions are great, but there are many little places off of the beaten path that deserve more attention than they are getting. For example, there is a pizza place in Brooklyn called the Spamoni Garden that I firmly believe has the best pizza in the world. Also, with countless movies and television shows being set in this city, you can find the site of a favorite scene of yours. The big attractions are what bring so many tourist to this city, but its the little places that make the city what it really is.
NYC: Try New Things
While in New York City with unlimitted options of what to do it only makes sense to do something out of the ordinary. While taking a trip there do not be afraid to get out of your comfort zone. You most likely took a trip like this for memorable experiences, and leaving your comfort zone is the only way to obtain an unforgettable experience. However, by no means am I saying do something stupid and find yourself in a dangerous situation. There is just so much that NYC has to offer that is unique to everywhere else I don't want you to miss out on a great experience because you were a little bit nervous about it.
NYC
New York City is a place unlike any other that must go on this list. I strongly believe that a place like this deserves my recommendation of multiple trips. To completely take in all that this city has to offer in just one trip is an impossible task. People spend lifetimes here without seeing all there is to see and doing all there is to do. From everything on Times Square, the hustle and bustle of Wall Street and the famous shops on 5th Street, to the illegal sales on Canal Street and the excitement of Coney Island, New York City is a not a place where you will have trouble finding things to do. There is so much that I had trouble fitting it all into that last sentance, and I left out many things like Broadway plays, the Empire State Building, St. Patricks Cathedral and much, much more.

Brazil-Poverty
Brazil's beautiful landscape and unbelievable love of soccer is not the only reason I am recommending a trip there. A trip to this country will be an eye-opening experience to anyone on the subject of poverty. It is true that we have some poverty here in America, but there is nothing like the favelas that can be found in Brazil. One room houses stacked on top of each other filling up the side of a large hill with no electricity or running water are called favelas, and they are what hundreds of thousands of Brazilians call home. The sight of this is breath taking, and it is something that truly has to be seen first hand.
Brazil-Landscape
The diverse landscape of Brazil is another very attractive feature to this county. This country contains the third largest city in the world in Rio de Janeiro, the largest rain forest in the world in the Amazon, and many beautiful beaches and mountains. Taking a ride down the Amazon river through the lush forest filled with countless types of wildlife is an experience that should not be passed up. The excitement of one of Brazils many big cities like Rio or Sao Paulo is just as breathtaking, especially when it can be compared to a trip in the Amazon. These are two completely different worlds that are somehow contained in the same beautiful country, and I can't recommend taking a trip there any more highly.
Brazil-Soccer (Futbol) Country
To begin this blog, the first place I would like to recommend a trip to is the beautiful country of Brazil. Any true American soccer fan would be amazed at the true love for the game that this country displays. There is not an empty, flat patch of land that is not decorated with soccer goals. Empty lots, alley ways, and even busy street medians are constantly filled with some form of a ball, two goals, and very skilled players. Each city has multiple professional teams, and seats are hard to come by at all of those games. The World Cup is treated as a national holiday with all schools and stores closing so the whole country can support their national team win another championship. This soccer crazed nation is surely a sight to see.
